The food was really hot and full of flavour. We’re not from the area, but we were happy we chose to eat here!"

May 12, 2026"Our first time in Carlsbad NM. This place has very good Mexican food. Food takes a little bit to be served as all made to order. Tasty food and portion sizes are generous . They’ll serve chips n salsa once you arrive . Salsa is a must try . sea food fajitas had good portion of meat and very flavorful . The sauce in New Jimador special is yummy ."

May 06, 2026"Went on a Sunday for lunch, lots of people, we waited 40 min to get the food we ordered. The food were very good and very generous portions! Prices are great too! The first waitress were not friendly but the one we got at our table were very nice and took the time to explain all the vegetarian options :)"

Mar 06, 2026"Stopped here after hiking at Carlsbad Caverns National Park and it ended up being a solid choice for Mexican food. From the outside, it wasn’t the most welcoming looking place, but don’t let that fool you. The food was good, the portions were extremely generous, and the margarita was very reasonably priced and absolutely hit the spot after a long day of hiking. Service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the whole place had an authentic local Carlsbad feel to it. Not necessarily a fancy destination restaurant, but definitely a good stop if you’re passing through town and craving solid Mexican food with big portions and good prices."
